Used. Large Paperback. I was in a safari guide online class during COVID and the instructor mentioned this book to me. He said, "There's a fascinating book called 1421 all about how the Chinese got to America before Columbus." I'm so down with a bit of putting Columbus in his place - nice guy - but gets way more credit than he deserves.
So I check out 1421 and it is fascinating. Fascinating in the way watching an hour of YouTube Flat Earth theories is fascinating. You know what I mean, that inextricable urge to look at a car wreck as we're driving by.
I do think you should read this. And also follow it up with the sequel about the Chinese starting the Renaissance in Italy, and the third book in the series about Atlantis. (I'm serious.)
